why is almost december?

good morning and happy monday lovelies!  can't believe thanksgiving is over and the holiday season is upon us!  sorry it's been a minute since i posted -- i've been busy running {ran the philly half-marathon last week}, eating {duh, thanksgiving just passed and i've been running}, catching up with family and friends {i.e. more eating} and of course running my business {and forgetting to take photos, an annoying quality}.

anyway, this time of year is always a time of reflection and introspection for me...where am i, what have i done, what can i do better, blah, blah, blah.  along that theme, my cousin has been encouraging me to create a bucket list.  think i'm going to make one.  here's one thing that i am adding to the list that i'll share 'cause i think i can knock them out before the year is out and won't feel that dreaded feeling of incompletion -- i'm going to decorate my apartment for the holidays.  i know what you're thinking: you don't already?  and no, not really.  sure, i usually have some flowers and i display my christmas cards but i don't do much else.  so i'm going to step it up a notch this year along the lines of the photo above.  simple and easy but darling all the same.  have any easy holiday decor ideas to share avec moi?  {photo by mikkel vang from domino archives}

p.s. i might even download some christmas music.  okay, i probably won't do that.
