flowers in the kitchen

every now and again, people ask me about edible flowers.  but other than the stuffed squash blossoms my friend brad makes, the occasional cosmo that i toss my salads and the ubiquitous sugared pansy, i'm no expert.  but alas, my friend kumiko's blog, recipe, interrupted, just featured a post on edible flowers.  so now, i'm all about them.  {photo courtesy of recipe, interrupted}
