new york magazine weddings

wednesday was new york magazine's wedding event.  i collaborated with anissa of blank slate event events, jenna of love jenna calligraphy and betsy of nine cakes to create a table scape for blank slate.  i had a great time working with these ladies -- they're all super special and talented, creative and generally just amazing.  and i loved designing these arrangements -- felt like i bought every purple and magenta flower i saw!  anemones, sweet peas, japanese scabiosa and ranunculus, tulips, asparagus fern, just to name of few of the elements.  anyway, i think our table came out really well...see for yourself!

i was at the table with anissa and had so much fun meeting all the brides-to-be, moms, couples, bloggers and other wedding vendors.  i also walked the show floor and saw so much creativity -- from stationers to dress designers to photographers, caterers to other floral and event designers.  the wedding industry seems to be on steroids, but it's a good thing.  while there's lots of awesomeness to choose from, thankfully, there seems to be room for everyone.  i'll definitely do more of these events in the future! {some of the images are courtesy of sofia negron photography.  thanks so much sofia!}
