the making of...

thought i'd photograph the making of an arrangement.  it's my first time doing this so i promise to get better...or at the very least, get someone to take the pictures for me.

here it is after a few days.  you may have noticed that i used carnations in this composition.  carnations get a bad rap.  i'm of the mind that the juxtaposition of a less expensive flower with one that is more expensive, i.e. peonies and anemones, enhances the less expensive element.  i mean, i work the high-low look all the time with clothes and accessories, so why not flowers?

i kinda fell in love with it and think it works well for valentine's day.

  1. Stunning! And I agree about the hi-low mix - so much more interesting and creative than just throwing together a bunch of expensive things. xx

  2. It may be very onerous to mention once exactly ought to be pressured to cash your test.
